Yesterday, Liam grabbed a football and headed for the hallway. He started throwing the ball up in the air and yelling what I thought was "ty!" I wasn't sure what that meant but it was fun anyway. Later that day, we were in the car and I opened the sunroof. He pointed to the sunroof and started yelling "ty! ty!" Ohhh! Sky! Mommy's slow sometimes.
Liam's started demanding books when he has his diaper changed. A little bathroom reading, I guess. His favorite diaper-time books are a football book and a baaaaaaseball book. Yes, it must be said baaaaaseaball!

Pretend Play and Jokes
Liam's imagination is blossoming. In the last few months he's started taking random objects (a plate, a placemat, a toy), putting them on his head and calling them a hat. He'll insist its a hat until I ask him if he's sure. He'll then laugh and say "nooooo!"
Liam can turn anything into an airplane which he flies around the room complete with sound effects!
He's recently started to play 'bedtime' with me and his toys. He'll get his blanket, cover up his target, pat its back, and say "ni-night."

Trucks
Liam has become a huge fan of trucks over the last few months. Whenever he spots one he yells "uff" although just in the last day or so he started saying "uck." We have several books about trucks which are his favorite. One of the books has pictures of every possible truck and piece of construction equipment. Liam can now name dump trucks, snow plows, diggers, loaders, and cement trucks.
