More new skills!

On June 14, LZ said 'mama' for the first time. He's been saying 'dada' for weeks.

On June 16, LZ took his first few steps all by himself! He took 3 steps between mom and dad.

On June 21, LZ said his third word, 'da' (that means dog). He saw a dog up the street, pointed at it, and said 'da.'

LZ can also use sign language to communicate his needs - other than pointing! He knows the signs for 'more, 'all done,' and 'milk.' So smart! He's also developing his own sense of humor. He'll conjure up a fake laugh in order to get us to laugh at him. He'll also make a funny face or gesture over and over if you laugh at it the first time. After eating a sour peach last week, he made a face that I laughed at, now he tries to recreate the face for a laugh. LZ's starting to stack toys like blocks and stacking rings. He also tried to put things together, like a lid and his bottle. He does still love to take things apart. He likes to open drawers and take everything out (and then leave it for mom to clean up!).
