More skills

Liam is growing by leaps and bounds! The past few weeks he's mastered more new skills:
- He can slide backward down the steps on his belly well (he loves to travel up and down, up and down...)
- He does the sign for 'wash your hands' and 'hat'
- He waves hello and occassionally will say 'hi' or 'hey'
- He's started to give hugs and sloppy kisses when asked

Liam's walking holding on to one hand these days. He'll let go entirely when he's feeling brave. He had a pretty big crash about a week or two ago that resulted in a cut lip and gum (the blood sure scared Mom). He's been a little more cautious since then.

He babbles all the time. I swear he said 'mullet' the other day. He's been exercising his vocal cords a lot. He loves to test our all the octaves of his voice, especially when we're in the car. He'll yell and scream and then laugh - he cracks himself up.

Liam points out everything, particularly on a walk - dogs (with a woof), birds, bunnies. He loves to ride in his new red wagon, pointing at everything and waving to the neighbors.

Liam's last day at school was last Friday. We're going to miss his teacher, Ms. Carolyn, and all his friends. They were all really wonderful. Liam starts at his new school on Aug 19!
